Q: What was the first story you ever wrote?
A: This one is kind of ironic as the first story I ever started never reached completion, but then again,
I was in the eighth grade at the time. Somehow, a story about a killer mountain lion just lost it's appeal after a while.
After that I didn't try my hand at writing for several years. When I finally sat back down at a keyboard in my early
twenties it was mainly to work out some of my own feelings regarding a personal tragedy and my romance "Life After Loss"
was born.
Q: I can't seem to find Life After Loss on
your website, where can I read this story?
A: "Life After Loss" is currently
not posted anywhere. My original plan had been to post it on the site, but I have struggled with how personal the story
is and have been debating on whether or not I want to place it back onto the web. At one point and time it could be
found on Literotica.com but I eventually had the story pulled.
Q: I have noticed that the majority of your stories are of a gay romance nature, what prompted you to begin
writing in that genre?
A: For as long as I can remember I have loved to read. In
school, I was always the kid with her nose buried in a book. As I grew older I became interested in romance novels but
after a while, I started to grow bored with them. I happened to stumble upon a story by Sara Bell, someone that I have
since become good friends with. Her story "The Magic In Your Touch" held me absolutely spell bound and the
more I read, the more I enjoyed it. The next story I started to compose, Eternity, I decided that I would take a stab
at writing a gay romance myself. I seemed to find for some reason that the story just seemed to flow onto the computer,
and I was hooked. I still write a variety of romance's, but the stories just seem to flow better when I have two men
as the romantically involved characters.
Q: Who
is your favorite character out of your stories?
A: This is a tough one to answer as all
of my characters hold a special place in my heart, but if I had to choose, I think I would probably have to say Jackson.
He's from the story "Life After Loss" and those that read it before it was pulled from Literotica would probably
understand. Having written that story to help me come to terms with my own tragedy, Jackson somewhat became my knight
in shining armor. For years after writing the story I would constantly tell myself, "One day, I'll find my own
Jackson."
Q: Did you ever find your Jackson?
A: As a matter of fact, I did, and I am now married to him. My husband is everything that I envisioned
when I wrote the character of Jackson.
Q:
What does your husband think of the content of your stories?
A: My husband supports me
in whatever I want to do. I won't say he understands why I do what I do, but as long as I don't make him read the story,
he's good with it.
